Please join us at the Quilters Studio Sonoma retreat at the beautiful Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma, CA - Monday, September 26^th through Friday the 30^th, 2022. 

Settle in under a canopy of oak trees, unwind and embark on a creative week as we welcome Fall in the unique beauty of the Sonoma Valley.  For those of you that are not local to the area, “Crush Season” should be underway and you can feel the hustle and bustle in the air. Westerbeke Ranch has an on-site gourmet chef who will spoil us with seasonal creations while we have exclusive use of the ranch with a swimming pool, hot tub, walking and hiking trails.   You may also want to indulge yourself and schedule a massage by contacting massage@westranch.com.

To inspire our creativity, I have scheduled the very talented and creative Cathe Holden, fabric designer for Moda Fabrics with us who will teach her Collage & Stitch Sampler.  You may already be familiar with her fabric and blog.  I was so excited to see her latest fabric line from Moda and couldn't wait to share it with you.  I learned about her when I opened a promotional email from Moda showcasing her latest fabric line.  Those of you that may remember my brick-and-mortar store, Quilters Studio in San Carlos, may recall what a Moda “enthusiast” I am”.  It was Moda Madness everywhere and I loved it all!   Cathe has been featured is several magazines such as “Country Living” and “Where Women Create” where she will be featured again this August.  After spending over an hour on the projects page of Cathe’s blog, www.catheholden.com, I realized that she lived close by and I was so thrilled that she agreed to come and share her creative ideas with us.  You are welcome to bring additional projects to work on as well.

To cap off our wonderful retreat, we will spend the afternoon of our fourth day touring near-by wineries in our private bus.  After lunch on day four, we will board the bus as we tour the sights and near-by wineries.  I have selected wineries that will not only appeal to your taste buds, they will also peek your creative senses as there are beautiful grounds and scenery to inspire you.  Not to mention great gift shops!
